I was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. I went to undergraduate at Kansas State University and majored in Elementary Education. I completed my Master's degree at Webster University in Education and Innovation. I worked in Kansas City for 4 years after college before moving to Chicago. This is my 7th year at Walt Disney Magnet School. I taught first grade for one year and the other ten have been in kindergarten.

I enjoy all of the "firsts" we have in kindergarten. Throughout the  year your child will learn so much and have lots of fun doing so. I love getting to know all of my students and their families.
