About Miss Jones

 

I was born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. I went to undergraduate at Kansas State University and majored in Elementary Education. I completed my Master's degree at Webster University in Education and Innovation. I worked in Kansas City for 4 years after college before moving to Chicago. This is my 8th year at Walt Disney Magnet School. I taught first grade for one year and the other ten have been spent in kindergarten.

I enjoy all the "firsts" the kids have in kindergarten and getting to each child and their family. We have a lot of fun in class and learn tons too!
